We know how frustrating it feels to care deeply about your community but not know if your giving is truly making a difference.
With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, we’ve helped underserved communities build sustainable childcare careers creating safe, thriving spaces for thousands of children across Utah.
Your gift can do the same.
Promise South Salt Lake has seen great value in the partnership with LEAP/Leorian Education. The Leap and Learn Child Care Provider Essential Courses have built skills and knowledge to ensure New American participants can safely open in-home child care programs, receive job placement and coaching, while building a network of like professionals. Offering the program in a safe and enriching environment gives individuals the freedom to learn at their pace and seek mentoring needed to see success in their career choice.
The Promise South Salt Lake Co-Op is a place where community members and partners come together to connect, work, learn, and grow. LEAP plays an important role in helping provide free community programming that helps prepare our diverse community members to provide essential childcare services. The early years of child development are crucial to success and having a workforce that is prepared to not only provide childcare, but also enrichment helps strengthen our community. A partnership like this simultaneously helps both our youngest community members by providing safe childcare for them and our workforce by providing them with the support they need to succeed.
Leap & Learn has been a fantastic partner for our organization! Their training programs provide invaluable skills, and we've seen the success firsthand; one of our clients who trained with you was ultimately hired as a childcare provider for our own intensive English class. LEAP is a trusted resource that truly empowers individuals and strengthens our collective work.
